CBC News has reversed course and admitted that 9/11 was terrorism.

Great! Because hijacking passenger planes and deliberately massacring civilians is in fact terrorism. But there’s a glaring problem. What about October 7?

Terrorism doesn’t stop being terrorism because the victims are Israeli. And Hamas isn’t some ambiguous organization. Canada has designated Hamas as a terrorist entity for decades.

This isn’t about demanding that CBC take Israel’s side. It’s about demanding consistency. Our Digital Director, Rick Firth, explains.
