HonestReporting Canada is proud to welcome Jade Levitt as its new Regional Director for Quebec. With Jade overseeing efforts throughout the Province of Quebec, HRC aims to expand its news monitoring and media relations to French Canada, boost its advocacy & educational efforts and deepen relations with the local pro-Israel and Jewish community.

A born and raised Montrealer, Jade has a strong background in Israel advocacy and international diplomacy and is currently completing her MBA. Prior to joining HonestReporting Canada, she worked as the Director of Political and Public Affairs to the Consulate General of Israel in Montreal.

“I am honored to be joining HonestReporting Canada, an organization dedicated to combating antisemitism and anti-Israel hate,” said Jade. “I am eager to work with the media, community leaders, and members of the Jewish and pro-Israel community in Montreal and throughout Quebec, to raise awareness about our mission, to combat anti-Israel media bias and to counter Jew hatred.

HonestReporting Canada’s Executive Director, Mike Fegelman, sees the appointment of a Quebec Regional Director and the establishment of a Montreal office as important milestones in the organization’s efforts to fight antisemitism and anti-Israel media bias from coast to coast.

“The Jewish and pro-Israel community in Montreal is vibrant, dynamic and dedicated and we are thrilled to increase our presence there working to embrace, educate and empower grassroots Quebecers to advocate for Israel and combat anti-Israel media bias in both of Canada’s official languages,” Fegelman said. “Jade’s appointment as Regional Director is a significant step forward in our mission, and I am confident she will make valuable contributions.”
