Terror continues even as defence minister, Ehud Barak, and IDF Chief brief reporters on terror attacks that killed 7 in the south. A military source says fire was opened on an IDF patrol searching for the terrorists who committed the deadly attacks, critically wounding a soldier.

Seven people were killed and at least 28 people were wounded Thursday in a series of terrorist attacks on Israeli targets approximately 20 kilometers north of the southern city of Eilat, close to the border with Egypt.

Israel Defense Forces aircraft struck targets in the Gaza Strip on Thursday evening, hours later.
