  • April 8, 2019: CORRECTION: “The original version of this article said the Israeli prime minister had been indicted. In fact, Israel’s attorney general has recommended indicting him on bribery and breach of trust charges, but a determination of whether to do so may take months.”
  • January 21, 2014: Ottawa Citizen/PostMedia correct incorrectly linkage between Israeli settlements and Palestinian refugees
  • Mar 20 2008: According to a Citizen editor: Apology – “Thank you for your email. The error was a human one. The news brief immediately above the one you have noted was about a story in Somalia, but the geographic locator had been entered as “Mogadishu”. The copy editor intended to change that to “Somalia” but inadvertently changed the geographic locator on the subsequent story, which obviously dealt with a matter in the Palestinian territories. I appreciate you bringing this to my attention.”
  • Jan 14 2008: “Due to an editing error, Matthew Fisher’s article on page A6 Thursday about U.S. President George W. Bush’s trip to Israel was incorrectly attributed to Michael Abramowitz.” Correction issued.
  • Jan 10 2008: “U.S. President George W. Bush is making his first visit to Israel, not his first visit to the Middle East. Incorrect information appeared in a headline on page A6 on Tuesday.” Correction issued.
