According to Sun News reporter Kristy Kirkup, NDP Leader Nicole Turmel "doesn’t support the provincial party’s boycott of Israel." Yet, the quotes given by Ms. Turmel in this report and in an interview on Sun News Network’s Daily Brief program yesterday only quoted Ms. Turmel as supporting the NDP position for a two-state solution between Israelis and Palestinians. There appears to be no recorded statement of her actually repudiating the boycott, divestment, and sanction effort against Israel (which of course, goes against NDP party policy), unless reporter Kirkup heard Ms. Turmel specifically make this statement without attributing it directly.
