A Sunday Times report about alleged Israeli plans to attack Iran’s atomic facilities with tactical nuclear weapons prompted editorials in both national newspapers today.
The National Post?s editorial interprets the story as a warning to Iran:
"One other fact leads us to think the Times story was planted as a means to pressure Tehran: the insistence that Israel is considering use of nuclear warheads in such an operation."
Meanwhile, the Globe & Mail?s staff-ed points out that Iran’s uranium enrichment program is a global problem:
"This is more than Israel’s problem; it is a problem for the world, including moderate Arab states, to solve through a concerted international effort."
