- Toronto Star, June 27 2007: “Israel has agreed in principle to free some Palestinian prisoners in exchange for the release of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, but no deal has been reached on the number or identities of the Palestinians who would be freed. Incorrect information appeared in a June 26 article that included information about Shalit, captured last summer by Palestinian militants. The Star regrets the error.” Correction issued.
