Today’s letter of the day goes to Marjorie Gann for a nice note she penned that was printed in the Toronto Star:
?I am surprised that the Toronto Star found the space to cover the "peaceful" Gazan protest against Israeli sanctions, since no coverage was given to Monday night’s Toronto rally of more than 2,000 people in support of the beleaguered citizens of Israel’s Sderot. There is nothing "peaceful" in the treatment by Hamas of Sderot, whose citizens have suffered more than 8,000 rocket attacks since 2001. On Wednesday, more than 50 rockets fell on the city and a father of four was killed. Every rocket launched is a war crime, since civilians are the only target. The terms "peaceful" and "Hamas" are mutually exclusive.?
