  • March 5, 2020: PostMedia paper deletes claim that all Arab League countries rejected Trump’s Mideast peace plan.
  • July 31 2008: Report details the detention of a Kingston man in the West Bank, stating, “After two days of trying to get him to sign a statement written in Hebrew, police officers took him to a prison near the Tel Aviv airport where he was held with other foreigners until his flight home.” Report later revealed that the information came from the man himself and could not be verified. Correction issued.
  • Apr 23 2008: “A sentence in an Associated Press article about the Gaza Strip that appeared in Friday’s Whig-Standard should have read: Israel, which controls Gaza’s border crossings, has greatly restricted the flow of goods into the area since Hamas seized control there last June. Incorrect information was supplied to the Whig.” Correction issued.
  • Mar 6 2008: “In an Associated Press story that appeared in yesterday’s Whig-Standard, Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni was quoted as saying that Israel might be forced to send troops back into Gaza. However, officials in her office clarified that she was referring to a military operation, not reoccupation.” Correction issued.
  • Nov 25 2005: Name of Ariel Sharon’s new party incorrectly identified. Correction issued.
