John Bolton on CBC Radio's As It Happens

by Mike Fegelman

Johnbolton Recommended Listening: John Bolton discuss this past summer’s war between Israel and Hezbollah on the CBC Radio program As It Happens today.  According to the CBC teaser:

"The divisive former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations brings his bristly electricity to a discussion of Israel’s war with Lebanon.

John Bolton has never been one to mince his words, or soft-pedal his opinions. In fact, the former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations is rather proud of his ‘straight talking’ image. And while it’s been more than three months since he left the U-N, time has not mellowed him.

Bolton now says that, as UN Ambassador during the war last summer between Israel and Hezbollah, he deliberately blocked an early Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire.
