On March 2, 2026, HR Canada Charitable Organization held an emergency briefing on the U.S. and Israel’s coordinated military action against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This emergency briefing covered the latest developments in the war against Tehran’s extremist regime, explained what’s happening on the ground, and unpacked the stakes for regional security and freedom.

The webinar was hosted by Adam Zivo, a freelance writer and weekly columnist at the National Post. He is best known for his coverage of the war in Ukraine, as well as for founding and directing LoveisLoveisLove, a Canadian LGBTQ advocacy campaign. Zivo’s work has appeared in the Washington Examiner, Jerusalem Post, Ottawa Citizen, The Diplomat, Xtra Magazine, LGBTQ Nation, IN Magazine, Quillette, and the Daily Hive, among other publications.

He was joined in conversation by Amit Segal, Israel’s most prominent journalist and a highly respected political commentator. Amit currently serves as the chief political analyst for Israel’s Channel 12 News, the country’s most-watched news outlet, and is widely regarded as a leading interpreter of Israeli politics, security thinking, and public opinion.
