Courtesy of the Toronto Star today, pro-Hamas flotillaist Sandra Rush confirms that the “Canadian Boat To Gaza’s” attempts to breach Israel’s blockade of Gaza were “A publicity stunt,” saying that “We did it for attention”.
Globe and Mail columnist Margaret Wente commented on these “useful idiots,” with a spot-on observation: “So many reporters were packed aboard the Tahrir, it’s amazing there was room for relief supplies.’
Canadian Press reports that Linda Sobeh Ali, the Palestinian Authority’s charge d’affairs to Canada, does not support the actioins of the flotillaists. According to Sobeh Ali: “We’re not involved, nor do we encourage it to be done.”
