It’s a topic that’s consistently ignored by the mainstream media, revealing a soft bigotry of low expectations.
It’s well known and extensively documented that the Palestinian Authority is rife with corruption and cronyism, a regime that criminalizes dissent and is censorial; acting with autocratic rule.
These, in and of themselves, are serious impediments towards improving living conditions for everyday Palestinians and to necessary institution building in the territories, and yet, our journalists refuse to cover this major obstacle to Palestinian self-determination and to peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
