A Michael Bell op-ed in the Globe and Mail last week erroneously reported that: "Prime Minister Olmert is looking for ways to end the rocket attacks emanating from inside Gaza (one attack last weekend resulted in the death of two Israeli brothers.?
Contrary to this statement, the two brothers were severely wounded, not killed by a brutal Qassam rocket attack. One of the boy?s legs was partially severed by the blast and then amputated.
HonestReporting Canada contacted the Globe and Mail and secured the following correction in today’s paper:
"A rocket attack from Gaza on Feb. 9 wounded, but did not kill, two Israelis. Incorrect information appeared in Thursday’s newspaper."
