Today, HonestReporting Canada prompted the Globe and Mail to issue a correction after falsely reporting that Israel is slatted to build “new West Bank settlements”.
In actuality, Israel is building homes in existing settlements that it expects to retain in a peace deal with the Palestinians.
The Globe, and other Canadian media outlets, also conveniently overlooked the fact that in addition to approving 800 housing units in Judea & Samaria, Israel also Ok’d hundreds of Palestinian structures in Area C. Details matter!
