HRC Letter Published in Vancouver Courier: Christmas Cartoon Splits Readers

On December 23, the Vancouver Courier published a cartoon by Geoff Olson depicting Joseph and Mary unable to get to the inn in Bethlehem due to Israel’s security fence, depicted as an immense and imposing concrete barrier, replete with watchtower. See HRC’s response that was published on January 4th and why we found this to be a sensationalistic cartoon that lacked context.
