In an opinion piece published in the Montreal Gazette, Yoram Elron, consul-general of Israel for Quebec and the Atlantic provinces, argues that the adoption of the Goldstone Report by the misnamed United Nations “Human Rights Council” will dissuade law-abiding democracies from taking measures to protect their citizens from terrorism which will ultimately comfort and embolden terrorist groups the world over.
