In an otherwise insightful editorial recognizing Israel’s unprecedented efforts to protect innocents while targeting terrorists, the National Post claimed that the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHCR) report found that “only 101 civilians deaths could be attributed to Israeli military action.” However, as our letter to the editor published in the Post today indicates, the Meir Amit Intelligence Center identified 101 terrorists and 68 civilians killed in the fighting. This evidence shows even more proof of Israel’s restraint.
