EU Blacklists Hezbollah’s Military Wing

by Mike Fegelman

The EU has finally listed Hezbollah as a terrorist organization, joining the USA, Canada and Israel. As the Globe and Mail reported, Britain and the Netherlands have long exerted pressure on the EU to list Hezbollah. The blacklisting of Hezbollah’s “military wing” opens the way for EU governments to freeze any assets Hezbollah’s military wing may have in Europe.

Hezbollah, a terror proxy of Iran, was most recently responsible for the Burgas bombing, in which 5 Israelis and a Bulgarian tour bus driver were killed when Hezbollah terrorists detonated a bomb.
