Last we checked, Israel’s new foreign minister Tzipi Livni was a woman. But it seems the news-writers at CBC’s website didn’t get the memo.
Describing a planned meeting between Livni and Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, CBC reported:
"Abbas will meet Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni on Sunday at the Egyptian resort of Sharm-el-Sheik. Both men will attend the World Economic Forum."
Shortly afterward, CBC amended the story to read:
"Abbas will meet Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni on Sunday at the Egyptian resort of Sharm-el-Sheik. Both will attend the World Economic Forum."
