Apparently Canadians and Iranians disagree on how to remember the Holocaust.

In Canada, the Jewish Federation of Ottawa gave the Ottawa Public Library a $12,000 donation

to enhance its Holocaust resources, including books and DVDs about the Holocaust.

In Iran, the Culture Ministry awarded the same amount to Abdellah Derkaoui of Morocco for

submitting the best cartoon to Iran’s "International Holocaust Cartoon Contest."

This came as part of "Holocaust Education Week," which began yesterday and ends Nov. 9.
